The Cary Area Library will join other McHenry County libraries during the week of October 21-27 for the United Way Week of Caring to collect toiletry donations. The donations will benefit three local agencies served by United Way: Community Action-Head Start, Rosecrance-McHenry County, and TLS Veterans. Donations can be dropped in our lobby collection box during the week of October 21-27. United Way of McHenry County partners with 30 local nonprofits; funds 48 programs focused on helping individuals; benefits over 91,900 people through programs and services provided by the partner agencies; and has raised more than $52 million over the past 50 years.
