The Friends of the Cary Area Library (FOCAL) are pleased to offer two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors attending a two or a four-year college or university who reside within the Cary Area Library District. Financial need will be considered, but it will not serve as the primary criteria for selecting scholarship recipients. Applications are available online or in the Library lobby and Teen Area. Completed applications must be submitted in person to the Cary Area Public Library Service Center no later than Monday, April 22, 2019. Late applications will not be accepted. Scholarship winners will be notified/announced at the students’ high school honors night in May.
