Courtesy packets for those interested in running for Cary Area Public Library District Trustee are now available for pickup at the Library’s Service Center during regular business hours. Three positions on the Library’s Board of Trustees will be filled at the consolidated election on April 1, 2025. The terms for the positions are:
- Six-year expired term
- Six-year expired term
- Four-year unexpired term
Petition packets must be submitted to the Cary Area Public Library District and will be accepted only during the following hours:
Tuesday, November 12, 2024, 9 am-5 pm
Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 9 am-5 pm
Thursday, November 14, 2024, 9 am-5 pm
Friday, November 15, 2024, 9 am-5 pm
Monday, November 18, 2024, 9 am-5 pm
In the event of simultaneous filers, a lottery will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the Library’s Meeting Room. The lottery is open to the public.
