“I love this book! Books with animals as characters are always fun and this book had hope with a little bit of magic thrown in. It’s a story about an elephant and a girl who is an orphan, and other interesting secondary characters– a boy detective, a grumpy farmer and, of course, a villain. Their interactions with each other made me want to keep reading. I’m looking forward to reading another book by this author.”
